LA Galaxy vs. Real Madrid at the Rose Bowl
Last Saturday, I headed to the Rose Bowl to photograph the international friendly match between the LA Galaxy and Real Madrid. The match was relatively uneventful as it was an exhibition game. The first half was dominated by the LA Galaxy since Real Madrid was playing their “JV” team, but that quickly changed in the second half with the entrance of some of the top football (soccer) players in the world including Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo. At times it looked like Ronaldo would simply stand still and toy with the LA Galaxy defense before making a crazy move to get by them. In the end Real Madrid defeated the LA Galaxy 3-2.
