A few weeks ago I had the true honor to photograph Shannon and Mike’s wedding on Bald Head Island, North Carolina.  For anyone who has never had the chance to venture to Bald Head Island, I highly recommend it.  The island is absolutely beautiful and transportation is by golf carts as no cars are allowed on the island.  For a photographer it is a dream location to photograph a wedding.  Here is a quick portrait that I took of them near the end of the reception.  More to come soon…

A month ago I photographed two amazing weddings.  What made this weekend different then any other one was that one was in Santa Barbara, California and the other was on Bald Head Island, North Carolina.  This made for a very long weekend of travel, but it was well worth it.  It was absolutely amazing to be able to photograph on Friday night on the beach with the Pacific Ocean in the background and then on Sunday with the Atlantic there instead.  In addition, I had two absolutely amazing couples to work with.

On Friday I had the pleasure of photographing Lisa and Drew’s wedding in Santa Barbara.  An especially touching moment occurred when Lisa began crying during her first dance with Drew.  Even though I was focusing on capturing this moment, I don’t believe there was a dry set of eyes in the room.  Moments like this make me truly appreciate how lucky I am and what an honor it is that I get to document the behind the scenes of this special day in a couple’s life.  More to come soon…
